What’s the Best HR Software? That’s the question I get all the time when talking to people about HR technology, and there are many different answers. Some of them are very good, but there’s one that just knocks it out of the park in terms of functionality, ease of use, and customization options. It’s called Zenefits and it is hands down the Best HR Software available today. I’ve been using it for my company for over 3 years now and I just can’t say enough good things about it! Let me show you why...


Contact management

Who do you need to keep in contact with on a regular basis? Obviously, it is important to stay in touch with your employees - email and text messaging are the most convenient options for this. However, other than that, who should you be contacting? This can vary from person to person and will depend on what you do for work as well as how big your company is. For example, if you have 10 employees who work in an office near one another, maybe all you need is a contact list of the ten people who work under you.


Time management

Prioritizing is hard. But if you are in the position of running a company, it's vital. How might you manage an additional three hours consistently? How would your work be different if you could stop what isn't urgent, yet important, and free up time for those things that need your immediate attention? That’s why the best software I can’t live without is Todoist. It lets me organize my tasks by assigning deadlines to them, so I can focus on only one task at a time. The app also provides notifications when reminders are coming due, so I never miss anything!

Team management

I'm fortunate to work for a company that's recognized as one of the world's most innovative companies in tech and we’ve got an incredible benefits package. This is important for recruiting, but not the best thing about working at this company. We also used this program for payroll so that it would automatically calculate vacation time without having someone get penalized and be able to give out raises without calculating anything myself!
